Welcome to the Gadsden Commercial Development Authority webpage. The GCDA is a nonprofit agency that was formed in January of 2004 through the progressive thinking of Gadsden’s Mayor and City Council and with the help of Auburn University’s Economic Development Institute.

The mission of the Gadsden Commercial Development Authority is to create and retain community wealth and improve Gadsden’s quality of life by creating an environment conducive to commercial business growth and attracting new retail and commercial business.
